If you're going to rebuild something, a good set of arms is essential
If there was any part of myself I'd be reluctant to lose that I could also survive losing, it'd be my hands, more specifically my left one. It's what earns me my living, allows me to express myself, any number of complex, dexterous tasks, really. I've honed my hands into precision tools of my trade. I'm proud of their strength, and their gentleness as well. This page serves as a reminder in a sense of those aspects, and their importance. always be strong, but at the same time, don't lose the ability to be precise or gentle.
As for the arms themselves, the thingie in the palms is a hard light holotool array. Saves on hauling toolboxes around, and is way more convenient. And plenty of armor plating in the forearms

Gorgeous design as always. I can definitely empathise with the notion of drifting more towards an artificial form. Sometimes it feels unfair that one can take so many hits to the soul, yet look like the same person on the outside. Perhaps mechanising can serve as a way of showing vulnerability by acting as a metaphorical band-aid over wounds that lie deep inside, or to show radical moments of spiritual growth (like these arms personifying the mastery of a craftsman).
Or maybe I'm just thinking too deeply. Cool project either way, looking forward to seeing more.

When I looked at this picture, I saw the circle in the middle of the palm and thought, "Oh, that's neat! This guy's going to have Iron Man arms and shoot his enemies with his hands." Then I read what the artist said it was actually for and thought, "Oh! Never mind. Holotools are still cool. Can literally have a crowbar on hand in case someone gets in his face."
Dude! This looks so bad ass! The attention to the joints and some of the locks look like you followed the atlas definition closely, but added just enough hardware to make it look unique. Would you mind if I used this as a reference when I make a cybernetic arm for a costume?
As a fellow fur whose fursona is a cyborg, I've always found it interesting to see what others conceive of when it comes to applications of "transhuman" technologies. While I'm not overly keen on drastically converting to a synthetic body such as in the case of your fursona, I can definitely agree on not wanting to lose the use of either arm (especially the left arm, oddly enough, for similar reasons though not for the same functions).
