I hope you still feel this way..... it's the last verse I'm referring to..
"I hope you know,
I hope you know . . .
I still love you,
And I always will,
Just have to find myself again,
Before I come back home."
I realize that may not be the case, but I think this may be something for you to think about, I mean how you felt at the time and if that holds true now, we both need time to cool down, settle in, and accept this. I have said it before, but it's relevant here, I know in my heart now you did the right thing and I think you for it.
We may never get back together, but I know we will be each other's best friends after some time, and that's wonderful. I think that's all I need now, is what you want and even if you don't want friendship I'll accept that and move on.
Again.... THANK YOU!! for doing what needed to be done, that may seem odd to hear, but reading your poems is helping me get my head screwed on right.
