Yeah I know what you mean.
The Line 6 DL4 has a loop feature, too, but the loop has a 14 second cap. I like to play around with that feature sometimes, but I don't use it for recordings.
If you're ever on the lookout for more pedals, I would definitely recommend it, especially if you're interested in doing some ambientish rock stuff. ^w^ It's really good for that.
