for those of those who don't know here is a nice Canadian man (born in Quebec) who used to for many many years played in the NHL. *shi nods* as of July 2 2015 a mr. Martin St. Louis *holds out hir paws*
well i was aloud into the local dueling piano resturant near my house and was enjoying some wonderful cheesecake they sale when the manager told me that mr. Louis was in the building!
now its not often i get to meet NHL players or even former ones even if i have run into a few over the years but i instantly thought "oi w...would he let me have a photo with him" and i asked this of my friend the manager of the building. he told me he would ask and be right back.
as it turned out Mr. Louis said yes he didn't mind and so i got this awesome photo! originally was gonna get it using my Ipad as you see in the photo but my friend advised he used his phone instead as it was a better camera snapped a shot and sent me the pic.
so here ya go all ya hockey fans! :) me getting to meet Mr. Martin St. Louis at the Red Piano dueling restaurant :) i still have no idea how this happens to me but man i am super happy he took the photo with me. he was in town to cheer on his son for the local Brick invitational hockey tourny in the mall. I wished him and his son luck and hope they were enjoying there time here, he thanked me smiling at being told that and said he was and thanked me for the best wishes. yay ^.^

aye :) and he was an extremely wonderful man to meet. he came down to the restaurant hung out with everyone did photos he was enjoying some time off from coaching at the moment. i kinda wonder if he is gonna be back this year for the next event. *shrugs* :) but was still great to meet him.
That's cool. I live two towns away from Matt Niskanen, a player from my dad's favorite team, Philadelphia (Also my favorite team). The funny thing is the guy buys stuff from the place my dad works, which is hilarious. He's a quiet guy, though.
He won the cup with the Caps, and I can say my dad played against a Stanley Cup Champ in high school.

A lot of people think of athletes and celebrities as the high up people (and most are), but some really can be down to earth and very friendly. (Heck, my dad even got Mark Hamill to try to convince his girlfriend to get back with him, but the GF wanted to go to a Meth-Head instead)
