Lucario curiously surveyed his surroundings. The house, from the inside, looked like a cabin. The walls were wood panel, just like the floor seemingly a hundred feet below Lucario's position. Looking out the huge window on the opposite side of the room, Lucario saw a collection of short trees and behind them, in the far distance, a city with countless buildings. Just seeing that sight was stunning to the pokémon- At his size, it would take several days to travel there, and even the smallest buildings would surely be like mountains to the jackal. Everything was so... Huge.
But below the window, Lucario quickly noticed something equally, if not more interesting. Another city.
"Oh... What is that?" The pokémon thought.
Suspended on a sturdy, hard wood table, was what seemed to be a tiny model city surrounded by a circular stone wall. The buildings, or, most of them, looked even shorter than Lucario with only a half dozen that may have been significantly taller than the shrunken jackal. They were all wood and brick buildings, certianly, they couldn't have been modern. But this model town, Lucario thought, was very well crafted. The little details of the buildings were visible to the pokémon's keen eyes, and if it weren't so tiny it would have looked like any other civilized town. About a third of the miniature land was covered by one large field with a lake and a small section of forest, empty of any buildings or structures. All in all, an impressive model... But, Lucario wondered, could it be that it wasn't a model? Could it be rea-
The pokémon's thoughts were interrupted when he felt a large, soft object on his head. He twitched as Lyle's huge fingertip petted him, then traveled down his back.
"Ah..." he gasped, as the wolf gently pushed him down onto the furry surface of his palm and began stroking him. The pokémon squirmed. Lyle chuckled, and rolled Lucario over onto his back. The wolf's finger gently pressed down on Lucario's chest, and instinctively, Lucario tried to push it off but found himself unable to move the weight off of him. The little jackal, still pushing against Lyle's fingertip, gazed upward to his master's face and met those two big, green eyes again. Lyle's face had a playful look, and Lucario saw the giant wolf's smile grow as he continued to struggle. Knowing his resistance was futile, he ceased pushing and closed his eyes with a quiet whine. Just then, he felt the fingertip shift above him, the pressure halfway releasing as Lyle brought it down and began rubbing Lucario's belly. The pokémon's eyes drifted open again, and suddenly aware of how much he was blushing, he began squirming just a little from the sensation. This is something he certainly was not used to.
"You like that, huh, little guy?" Lyle said.
Lucario could only sigh in response. He did like it.
"I thought so..." the wolf replied.
Lyle spent a few further moments stroking his little jackal, then after a pet on the head, withdrew his fingertip.
"Well, you are a cute one." He mused. "...Anyway, I should let you get acquainted with the others."
The others? Before Lucario could ponder what Lyle meant, he felt the giant wolf's body begin to move. Lucario grabbed onto the fur of Lyle's palm and watched as Lyle carried him across the room, in the direction of the model city. Lyle approached the small town, and smiled. Holding out his paw, he allowed Lucario a closer look at it.
"This, little buddy, is Graywolf town...Well, was Graywolf town. Now, it's Lyle City."
Lucario looked upon the town, and his eyes went wide as he saw numerous little shapes moving around below him. Lucario could identify several from his vantage point- one was a Nidoking, easily noticed because of his color. Another was a gray wolf, who almost looked like a lighter, and much, much tinier Lyle. The jackal also noticed a Zangoose, another wolf, brown, this time, and a Charizard, among other pokémon and other creatures.
"Wow..." he whispered.
Each one was sized in proportion to the city- the little creatures must have been shrunken down so small that the buildings were normal, to them. And this meant... Lucario was bigger.
The pokémon twitched as he suddenly felt Lyle grab him gently by the sides, and lift him off the wolf's other palm. Lucario was lifted to eye level with the wolf, who met his gaze with a smile.
"Now, I'm gonna leave you here for a while. I'll be back later, okay, little dude?"
Lucario could only look back into his master's eyes, and gasped when the wolf suddenly lowered him down. Carrying Lucario above the rooftops of the buildings, Lyle's paw moved to the field section of the enclosure where the tiny jackal was let go.
"Play nice with the others, okay?"
Lyle pet Lucario's head, then turned away from the town and walked away, his pawsteps causing tremors in the ground until he was far out of the room. Lucario looked around and saw the town a few strides away, across the field. Behind him, was a sloped rocky structure with a small waterfall leading to the lake. The pokémon took a few steps near it, and sat down, resting his back against the rock wall.
"The others..." Lucario pondered. They were so... tiny. They must have been shrunk to that size so they could live in the city, which raised the question, why hadn't Lucario been made that small? Out the corner of his eye, the pokémon saw little shapes moving on the outskirts of the town. It was some of the "residents", or, more accurately, Lyle's pets. They looked like they were unwilling to come and closer, but there was an exception. Lucario watched the small orange dragon pokémon, Charizard, as he left the city and walked across the grass, in the jackal's direction. It took Charizard a minute to close most of the distance, because of his small size, but he approached Lucario seemingly without hesitation in spite of the bigger pokémon's size. When the little dragon was close, he unfolded his wings and flapped them, lifting himself off the ground and into the air. Charizard continied climbing, and came to a stop hovering just a few feet from Lucario's face, and the two pokémon met eyes. Charizard held himself up for a few seconds, but Lucario noticed he was drooping a little and seemed to be having a hard time keeping himself in the air. The jackal raised his paws and held them below Charizard, just as the little pokémon's wings gave up and he softly fell into Lucario's palms.
"Oh..." Lucario whispered. Charizard felt soft, and not quite as light as Lucario was expecting. The dragon pokémon stood up on his feet, and folded his wings. Lucario noticed his fire-tipped tail curl a little as he met eyes with the miniature dragon.
"So... they got you too, huh?"

One idea I'm still figuring out is some of the city's original inhabitants laying low and hiding in the buildings unknown to Lyle, me and even most of the other "pets". While Lyle's count is 17 little ones (18 with Lucario...) you might want to double or triple that for the real number :p
