So as of March my BF David and I tried to start raising money so we can buy our own place! The plan is to save up $5,000 each. But why $5,000? This way, as we earn money we can spend it on rent, not needing to worry if one of us becomes unemployed for a month or two!

The plan was to rent a place with 3 friends, Jesse, Nikki, and Andy, but so far all of us are having trouble saving and it'd be hard to find a 3 room home in our area.
