Unfortunately my scanner zoomed way in on this piece so a lot of details were cut out. I may retake a picture and reupload in the future. There is a sun peaking through in the upper left corner of the piece and lots of clouds cut out up top. The foxs bottom half of the legs have been cut off, as well as the tail. But I am happy most of it was captured nicely by my scanner.
This is a piece i've been working on for a few weeks now and recently finished during one of my favorite artists streams today. The piece is inspired by the arrival of summer solstice, and the creatures depicted in this piece are my personal spiritual animal totems. One being alpha, my recently acquired alpha ranked wolf who i have as a physical pelt. Rain, my main fursona as most know me by, and then on the right we have a very playful cheery Juliet, Jul (pronounced Jewel) for short. Each of these totems were most brought out with the arrival of summer.
I tried a different style of coloring here and used some gel pen and some white paint in the fur to give it some highlights, especially seen in the fox. My background is extremely simple, i apologize for not being great with backgrounds.
Mediums/Media used:
- PrismaColor Pencils
- White Gel Pen
- White Acrylic Paint
- Artist Loft Colored Pencils
- Artist Loft Ink Pens
-"For Her" BallPoint Pen (Black ink)
Bristol Smooth Surface Paper 11in. x 14in.

Man I am like in shock at how amazing your colors are, I mean you were good before but it's like BAM incredible skill level increase! I wish I could draw this good (Or had the self discipline to push myself to try!)
I love seeing every new drawing and how your style changes just ever so much to show improvement :)

Thank you very much! The fox had way more colors in its fur to offer rather than the wolves, so the most time was definitely spent on the fox and the most experimental coloring was done on it as well. I did shed some of my techniques learned on the fox over on the wolves as well, but they aren't as prominent on them.
