I drew most of this holding a pencil in the standard style. It's coming back to me, faster than I expected, and I confess I see why they teach you that way. I feel sort of stupid.
Hopefully this will lead to better things. Honestly I'm relieved, because it means I can learn to paint too...one day.

Hey thanks. I'm a ways off yet, but definitely looking forward to learning in the future now that I know I can wield the tools of the trade properly with a little practice.
Practice practice practice! It's still tough and it's going to take some time, though in the long run it's better than having a hand that creates and destroys simultaneously...
