When I say short, I mean hella short. Seriously, this is only 121 words. I've thought about adding to it several times, but the inspiration has never struck for it.
Feel free to downlaod it, or cantact me with ideas that you'd like to see me go with for this.
Sumbission image is a generic pentagram tha I can't remember where I found it. Probably photobucket xD Full story below.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
It’s an odd way to start off a conversation, but I’m tired of beating around the bush, being prodded and poked with sly words and condescending looks.
“I have this nightmare…well, based off a fear, really. I’m falling…..and all the ones I thought would be at the bottom to catch me…..are at the top, watching me fall, congratulating each other on pushing me off the edge.”
Everyone is silent now. They weren’t expecting me to speak.
Then commotion erupts among the therapists and psychiatrists. The other patients just do their usual rocking, moaning, blank-faced norm.
The doctors ask me questions again, but it’s too late now. I’ve gone back to my quiet.
They’ll be lucky if I surface again at all.
