I was digging through my older works, and i came up with this one. There is alternate, somehow finished piece of this in my DA page, yet i messed it's background a bit. I like this nightsky background little more, and i think i should try re-doing it with better layers again. Also spotted couple of mistakes i could work on yet.

But yeah, picture of two of my characters, Queen Shala, the smaller, blue one, and her bodyguard, and closest friend, Ignis.
Shala created a revolution in the kingdom, killing the tyrannic former king, taking his place on throne. In mere weeks, she created completely new kingdom, without slavery and suffering.

During the old king's time, a nameless, young drataksian female with monstrous strenght was imprisoned, and forced to fight in the arena for years, before Shala released her from her torment. Shala gave her name, Ignis, and asked her to come with her, beginning their friendship, that has only deepened during their years together.
Ignis cares Shala very much, more than she agrees to admit, and would give her life to protect her anytime. She designed the armor she's wearing herself, stating, that it should be so heavy, that anyone with evil intentions, would feel crushed just by looking at her. The heaviest parts require two full grown dratakses to lift them, but she can fight in it easily.
