Blessed are those who fly aircraft in a 30-meters-of-visibility-thick magic fog, let alone have the training to operate the machines.
Helicopters are by far the popular choice, still very rare to find, but in largest concentration within Tsarkos Line cities. There at least, pilots are able to "fly blind" within the cities, using maps and city topography to navigate through the sprawls. Lines are built well within the safe zones, but on occasion small Phase Storms are known to occur within them. Pilots are to be grounded until new maps can be made that reflect the changes, if any.
It is considerably more dangerous to fly outside of known territory - especially in the farther out areas with near-constant Phase Storms. Not only is the weather most abhorrent there, but the land changes terrain constantly. No pilot wants to find themselves flying right into the husk of a skyscraper that wasn't there a day ago.

I love Everything about this . What says on the visor? i cannot identify what it reads ( talking about blindness(?)
Would i say that they fly as a Step of Faith ? Maybe another sent, beyond the eye nor machinery, encourage them to do so
