I held off on this awhile because of the recent passing of my dog and how I felt guilty if I did anything not related to mourning the loss of him but I understand now that he spent his life making me happy and he wouldn't want me to sacrifice my happiness because of him. I'm still not over it. Nor will I ever be, I'll just learn to live with it. I still very much miss him and get upset everyday and I will for awhile. Even if I'm doing things that make me happy, in the quiet moments alone I will always think of him.
