First time working over rough lines, which gave me some more freedom at lineworking, as opposed to the more defined lines found in my own sketches. Also using slightly thicker lines this time.
Decent comments other than "OMFG SO CUTE!!!" always welcome.

EDIT Jul/5: Fixed fur colour.

First I use a cheap Bic pen to ink the pencil lines over the physical drawing, then scan and use my Bamboo to do the digital linework.
It's not only about having a tablet, but also about being able to do shapes from zero with it, without any sort of pre-made reference sketch. Something that I can't do.

I pencil it in, pen over the rough pencil, scan it in and use SAI's line tool. I don't have any sort of tablet or touchscreen. But yeah, without a reference it can be difficult. I also would imagine there's some sort of disconnect between the tablet and the monitor, which is why I've been a bit hesitant toward getting one.
But you're doing pretty damn good work with yours, friend! Let me know if you'd ever like to trade.

Ahh, completely understandable. I'm not really in an artsy fartsy mood, either. These things come and go with chronic pain, tell ya what :P
Take your time and do what you need to do, friend. You can't rush perfection, after all ;)
Here's wishing you nothing but the best!
