minnesota's got lakes and rivers! (not as great as a beach like in Florida, but still nice on a hot day!)

Galveston would be the closest beach you could get to. But i recommend Padre island !

I had to move to texas to live with my mom after my father kicked the bucket !
But i come to New Mexico as much as i can!
though I was born in Albuquerque. I don't know much about it because we moved to Hobbs New Mexico.
when i was very young.
Now i could rattle and ramble about Hobbs all day looooooooooooooooooooong!
traveling around New Mexico is awesome!
So far I've been to Eunice, Carlsbad, Roswell, Albuquerque, lovington, las cruses and other cities in New Mexico.
Maybe i shaved through somewhere close to this Elephant Butt lake while leaving Roswell to Carlsbad ?
All i remembered, was seeing some dam/reservoir thingie in the distance that was lit up at night!
