Such a large snake-dragon, oh my. But even giant snakes get tired from time to time, and they look so peaceful and cute when napping <3
Quite an ambitious drawing I've taken up here (And omg are Dala's spikes annoying to draw!), and the first time I've drawn a legitimate background in ages!
An alternate version with an additional side-panel depicting what woulda happened if you didn't jump out of the way in time during Dala's intro cutscene will be posted to my other account (Hint, you end up inside Dalamdur :B)

Not included just yet is the Seregios yapping at Dala on one of the rocks in the middle. When thinking about that seriously close call in Dala's intro, and coupling it with the "What If..." situation I mentioned above, I thought to add in Seregios so I can further pry into MonHun Stories references - the idea that Seregios would be furious at Dalamadur for swallowing his rider and friend.
Not like it matters much, once the quest is failed they'll be reunited, we always are - and next time Mr Hotshot hunter will be a touch more aware of his surroundings :P (Seriously though, how could you miss a snake that large lunging at you? XD)
Will be scrapped later, and the next upload will be the finished piece~
Post-note: I do love 'What If' scenarios, they're fun to imagine and even more fun to draw. By extension, cross-overs and such can be considered What If scenarios to me, it's all a lot of fun <3

No wai! We're immortal as long as we're on a quest xD
But hen again, IMO so are the monsters, once ya turn your back they poof - until the next time!
(Tis just what I like imagining when into the game, is more fun for me that way~ Plus being in a quest is like, their job. If you don't hunt them they don't get paid D: Gotta think of them and their children they're trying to feed ;v; )
