People like ****** and others are giving up hope for Krystal (StarFox) to make it as DLC in Smash Bros. But I'm not, she has potential since she can fight for the StarFox team, so why not in Smash Bros aswell?

I also want her in smash bros, Krystal VS Fox would be awesome, but the DLC roster is just flat out bullshit to a degree, I mean seriously, Smash Bros has always been about nintendo characters fighting it out, and they go and add in fucking Ryu from street fighter, what the actual shit are they thinking?! I mean for Megaman (US)/Rockman (Japan), it's understandable, Megaman had games on the nintendo consoles, Pacman had games on the Gameboy which is clearly a nintendo console though hand-held, but a console none the less, as for the re-joining of Mewtwo and Roy and Lucas, they should've been there since the get go, not as DLC, they filled DLC rosters with returning characters which offers no true new variety, and the addition of Ryu is just fucking stupid.....I'm no street fighter buff, but to my knowledge, I don't know of any Street Fighter on a nintendo console, seriously, the smash ballot had one major flaw, they didn't keep it legit nintendo characters only.
I might have to change my tune a bit, but I looked up a video and apparently it seems that the first set of DLC with Roy, Lucas, Ryu, and Mewtwo wasn't a result of the ballot votes, it was Sakurai doing it for Sakurai, so the next set of DLC which offers several new faces, my guess being either four or five new additions might include her since it would be a waste of time for more veterans to come back to the fray, so sorry Snake and Wolf, so the hopes of her still being in it still stands, as for the Wii U's new Star Fox Zero title, she clearly isn't in that one, once more as a trend seems to show, many things are getting remade or rebooted, judging by the gameplay mechanics, I'd mark it off as both a remake and reboot, fresh coat of paint with differing mechanics, the Arwing walker mode shown at E3 truly isn't a new mechanic or concept, the idea goes back to the unreleased Star Fox 2 on the NES, so thanks to the reboot and remake fad that's going around, Star Fox's franchise is either getting a new coat of paint and reworked way of telling the old story, or, and I know many people might love this little speculation, Fay and Miyu might be on the horizon if a reboot is what's going on, as for our blue girl, one of three things might happen to her, number one, if they're truly rebooting the SF franchise, they might rework the entire story of how things played out in Adventures, so she might entirely avoid being trapped in the crystal at krazoa palace and the game would feature a back and forth between her and Fox as active playable characters, because as we know, reboots might tell the same old story, but they go about it differently, whether it be slightly or majorly, second possibility, a release after SF Zero could result in a time-skip of Adventures and go right to a reboot of Assault which might actually include Miyu and Fay, as said before, reboots tell the same old story but in a different way, plus it hits many birds with one stone, third outcome which comes with two possibilities, a two-fer Adventures is restored to its original prime as a reboot, following its original Dinosaur Planet IP title name and planned storyline to the letter, which ultimately in turn, and brace for the cold water because it's gonna suck, removes her from the SF franchise. Those're just my logical speculations based on how things normally pan out, fourth speculation, Nintendo just enters troll and floppy dick mode like they've done before and just shun her out because sadly enough they can.
