Here's the Cthulhu Egg.
It can hold about 7 5ml perfume oil bottles and/or other small objects. 2 real bloodstones embedded in the egg shell, third perched on the tip of the tentacle. Reenforced and weighted with resin, which gives the bottom half a level inside. Lined with brown satin.
It does slide on the stand some, but that could easily be fixed with gluing or even just nesting some cloth in the stand itself, depending on your preference.
