Someday hehe, every time I save enough to buy one, I just ticket shock and spend it on utilities and pantry =3= or in this last case, moving.

Firstly I need a monitor that has true colors, and a wide format longbed scanner, then fun computer toys ;) My old tablets are good enough for not being a digital artist anymore.

Its hard! I have a motion computing display tablet I mostly use for coloring and thinking up stuff, and its a bitch to draw with compared to my wacom (and MC use wacom tech, that is why everyone snatched them up for 60-80 bucks before cintiq rolled out)

Once I used a display cintiq at a trade show, its like going back to making fires with sticks rubbing together to use other tablets. I could have bought that one (large one) for almost half off because I knew enough to get display models direct from the shows when they retire them, but at the time I was still with my ex and I never could save up and lost the chance.

God I am so lucky, I've read some bad stories where they installed wrong and had to system restore to correct it.

I really need to upgrade my hardware as well, but I gues my old little fujitsu is gonna have to do till I can get one of them meself ^^

I would love to try one of these tablets, but i don't know any other digital artist in my city xD.

I so felt the say way, but then kept reading all the reviews and after several hundred of the thousand+ i decided.

I got the same one a little while back. No more painting with a mouse, and no more crummy scans!
The weird cord is indeed too short. Once I changed my computer setup, I found it very difficult to have the cord reach. I also have some trouble with the USB port on my laptop, so it doesn't always make a solid connection, but that is an issue for my computer itself.

You can get extensions, most any USB extension will work and the HDMI port any extension will work
