Alright, finally, this is the first piece in a long time that I've actually spent a lot of time and effort on so....

Comments and especailly critiques are greatly welcomed!

This took about 15-16 hours, and Ryou himself was painted from a sketch in photoshop all on one layer.....then the background and my new fancy insignia are on their own layers....so yeah, this picture has only 3 layers ^^

Also, no references were used!!

Now for storyline crap, for those who are interested and/or missed it on the sketch for this piece:

Ryou is not 100% Fennec, but he almost is. When he was being created, some genes got mixed up, and he ended up prefering the climates of Artic foxes, namely cold arctic areas, rather the hot deserts of most fennec foxes. This also resulted in his differently colored fur.

Ryou Frostfur often acts crazy; you can see it in his eyes. Others even describe him as loony......and actually this is a rather rare shot of him since often times he is very docile, refusing to use violence whenever he can avoid it......he's probably just posing because he does often like to act tough. Even though he may act crazy and unintelligent most of the time, he is actually likely my most intelligent character. He's extremely efficient at solving problems and fixing anything.
