Anthro/Kemonomimis Familiars are the evolved and more intelligent version of feral Familiars. They have adapted and some even live lives like humans. Anthro/Kemonomimis Familiars are able to transform back into feral Familiars at will but it takes up a lot of their energy and some go into a short hibernation after transformation. When the child a feral Familiar was protecting dies, they would usually ascend into the heavens as glowing fragments but some Familiars get lost on their path to the other world and they are sent back to Earth as anthro/kemonomimi Familiars. Though they no longer have a child to protect. They can also retract their claws with the little magic they have.
