Here is a little more on our lovely contestant from Defiance (And the theme she would personally like to see win, Asexual Empowerment!):

Nyxis is an akoiromantic; the fact that she falls in love with ideas(talent, success, the far-off prince or runaway princess archtype, or even the idea of love) instead of people and has a sex drive but finds it inconveniencing more than anything else, places her on the asexual spectrum.

I thought it would be interesting to see artwork of Nyxis expressing this sexuality/romanticism that I have rarely seen in not-safe-for-work images, or in much media at all.
So what I want to know is, is that even possible? Is it possible to show that she as an asexual can still be sexy and empowered, implicitly and self-evident in art like this? That's a huge concept; perhaps it has been a rare one because few have thought of ways to express it.

But if Nyxis wins, I'm going to push for this idea. If she wins, I am confident that Caribou's folio will at the most make a powerful statement, and at the least, be tasteful.
