Aw man, i'm really sorry to hear that! My aunt is in a similar condition.

Your health comes first of course, but if making art helps with the grieving process, then by all means do what you can when you are willing and able. Please look after yourself. You may be running on empty but i'm sure you have family and friends to support you.

Even though things might be looking grim, your photograph has a contrast in texture, colour and scale. Sure most of the composition is comprised of dull earth tones, but somewhere there's some bright, polished chroma in there. Despite everything that's happening right now, i'm sure that you'll be back up to speed with a full tank in no time.

I'm slowly getting better! I actually managed to wobble out to the backyard today and take a few photos, it helped keep my mind off the pain and the panic of having a botched surgery and.. not being sure what my next step should be. My bleeding is finally starting to taper off though, and hey, at least I'm not dead. :p

That's really good to hear that you can still make art, and you're making a recovery.
