It is also prequel to this one http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16268505/ which is set after Oliver wakes up from his surgery.
This was happening in oliver's mind after he was rushed to the pokemon center and had surgery to fix him up.
Oliver hadn't woken up yet and in his mind he felt worthless because he couldn't defend himself and wished that his trainer didn't help him...and left him laying there after the battle.
