Just a letter written from Treshaun's trainer and mentor to the FBA offices in support of the goat's entry into the draft and, hopefully, a place amongst the Top 24 selection. The pic (crappy as it is) was done by me. Tablet wasn't working right, but I managed to get something out at least. All characters belong to me. Treshaun has no knowledge of this letter.

I’m just going to be blunt and to the point.
Treshaun deserves a place in the Top 24. Hell, if it were up to me, I’d place him in your Top 10.
There’s lots of things about this kid that could make you overlook him; he’s a streetballer, he’s near illiterate, a little antisocial, and he can have a bit of a rough side during a game. But to me those pale in comparison to the things that make him into, I feel, a truly spectacular player.
This is a young man with a vertical that impressed me from day one and, with training, has managed to hit an average of 30 inches, and I know with better training he can continue to improve upon that and come to match players like Ryan Malone and Li Ho Fook. Possibly even exceed them! The spring in his legs is phenomenal! He just needs to work more on his core to really reach his max potential vertical.
And nevermind his jump skill, this kid’s pure determination and will to make every game his best is second to none. I’ve seen a lot of players around Kingston here, both streetballers and pros, and none of them have as bright a flame in their eyes as Treshaun does.
When he makes a drive to that basket there’s hardly anything that will stop him. This can prove an issue, of course, when he gets rough and elbows a shield out of his way, but that is something that I’ve been trying to work on as much as I can. Honest.
Under the basket he has an aggressive offensive presence, fighting to get his shot or get a rebound wherever he can. And when he has the opening, he doesn’t hesitate to impress with a flashy dunk! He can be a real crowd-pleaser once he gets in the zone and would likely pump up any hometown crowd he might play in front of.
I know I said he was rather uneducated, but he’s not a dumb kid. I’ve caught him playing chess with old fellas in town from time to time, always so intent, so focused. There’s so many layers to Treshaun, but the most obvious is his pure passion for this sport. He still carries around (and insists on using!) an old, worn out basketball he’s had since he was eight! The thing has three different patches on it and he somehow STILL uses it for practice!
But anyway. I know I’m just running a community center right now, but I used to play. And I know a good player when I see it. And you’d be foolish to overlook Treshaun simply due to the lot that life has handed him. He’s got a lot to offer, and I know he’ll prove it to the FBA as soon as he’s given the chance. So please don’t disregard this letter as the rantings of a retired player. I believe in Treshaun, and so do all of those around him, and we want you to do the same.
Thanks.
