From the fertile mind of Yours Truly and the exceptional pen of Rusty Haller (FA:  AQB52; RIP) comes this poster, a depiction of the three heroes of Petrel Studios' 1930s serial "Rocket Rat."

The characters are:

Capt. Rod Stone (Rocket Rat):

Rod Stone is a senior officer in the Global Police, a force dedicated to the extermination of authoritarianism under whatever guise it may be found. He is muscular (not muscle-bound, but very athletic), stands six feet tall, and is depicted wearing his flying suit as Rocket Rat – the suit (a standard-looking flight suit, but in aluminized leather) carries his rocket pack and controls (on his gloves so he can reach them easily). He has brown fur, dark brown headfur and blue eyes. He stands at the center of the picture, legs about shoulder-width apart, holding his helmet under his left arm while the right paw rests on the butt of his blaster pistol. His expression is stern and looking off into the distance to the viewer’s right. The flight helmet is a swept-back, streamlined affair. The chest of the flight suit displays the insignia of the Global Police – crossed lightning bolt and hammer, with a globe superimposed over it.

Lt. Jack Carr
Species: Badger
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Jack is Rod Stone’s co-pilot and sidekick, with a bit of a knack for getting into trouble. He’s dressed in the basic uniform of the Global Police, dark blue trousers and light blue long-sleeved shirt with the insignia on the chest. He has an open, friendly expression and stands far more casually than his superior. His height is about 5’10”, and while he has an athletic build he is slimmer than Rod.

Dr. Jane Red Deer
Species: Rabbit
Gender: Female
Age: 27
Dr. Red Deer is the inventor of the rocket pack that Rod uses; she tested it on herself and refuses to try it again (she hates heights). She is the chief scientist of the Global Police’s Research Division, and designed the spaceship that is used in their adventures. She has light gray fur and blonde headfur cut about shoulder-length; her ears are almost always erect, making her about an inch taller than Rod (her actual height without the ears is 5’9”). She is slim with about a B-cup bust and is shown wearing a red blouse, khaki pants and the standard uniform of scientists everywhere – a white lab coat with some pencils in the breast pocket, and eyeglasses.
