More value practice, more Judas. (Painting the same subject repeatedly with these helps me focus more on improving my technique and less on getting the character right!)
The technique for this style is a really interesting one. Instead of drawing shapes and forms, this is done entirely by blocking in areas of darkness and light, starting with super vague overall shapes and getting more and more refined until the image reveals itself. It's very different from how I usually do things, and SUPER fun to do. What do you guys think?
