I've never seen the FV appeal, but to be fair, it's likely one of the most affordable ways to get into open-wheel racing. Pretty much anyone who wants to go racing can afford one of these cars, slap it onto a snowmobile trailer, and you can race for a whole season with just gas money and a set of tires.
