It's cool, but at the same time it have a really strange design, the modern top, wheels, doors and mirrors do not match with the classic design of the front and rear....

Exactly, they could've take the chassis and make a new body matching the era, but they seem to have never bothered with doors at all. (and i bet there's nothing to mark the efforts in the interior) Made in factory scales, this looks like enthusiast's shed job..

In my opinion, they shoulda build something like original Shelby GT 500, or even Singer 901... an old car, made today. Mostly by hand, with some additions to remind people it's 21st century outside the windows.(no, not the automatic 8speed boxes, traction/launch/drift control etc pussy stuff, - more like slightly modernized apprearance, to mark the fact that good ol'gals like to follow fashoin too.)

I love C5, i like all previous gens, so i say with all do respect to vettes thruout the era, this is a cheap bluff (probably they tried to attract old fellow, who dreamed of owning the original)
