I wanted to draw something that wasn't quite aligned with an x, y or z axis, so here it is.

The good news...I'm pretty sure I'm ready to draw more than faces.

The bad news...I taught myself to hold a pencil because I wasn't in school much. The resulting position presses the side of my hand against the page. If I linger on the left side of my drawings too long the right becomes blurry and monstrous.

As far as standard sketching this could be fixed with a glove, yet I can pretty much forget charcoal or paint unless I spend years teaching myself to hold those pencils and brushes the standard way.

Screwed, in other words. At least there will always be drawing.
