FINALLY! After all this time of development, organization and some practice, it´s finally done this pic that I wanna cry ;w;.
Time to show a new location in Sephiria 7 years after Orion and Alice have met, making a new journey to the other continent to the hight summits, homeland of the old drakanians´ancestors, The Drekkiams (the black dragons), founders of the first principles of magic artes, and extinguished centuries before... or that´s what they believed ; )
So yep, man, first time I ever worked with snow! Never got experienced with them in drawing or real life XD but I feel good with this result for being my first try. And not just the snow, but that tower over there, damn architecture XD Never saw this comming but I´m quite happy that I manage to take that building out of my head the way I wanted : D so VICTORY!!!
Yes, this pic definitly works or as a poster or as a cover for the second story since its contents gots elements that are important for the plot, the tower was important to be there, it´s crucial for the story afterall ; )

But I always liked the green tattoos he has and pants and belt buckle is pretty bad@ss.

Realmente me fintó la baja resolución con la torre ^^;, viéndolo bien, el hiel en la torre si está muy bien hecho, jeje XD.
Orion también usa una cadena, ¿pero veo que tiene una como llave en ella? O es un mero adorno de la cadena quizás...
Te quedó muy bien el fondo de nieve y hielo, como dije, me recuerda a la ambientación de un cierto juego XD, ¿Lo que vuela alrededor de la torre son más dragones? Creo que en el futuro tendrás que explicar que onda con esa torre, pero estoy seguro que leeremos más al respecto ;).

Si heheh te digo que viendolo de cerca si se aprecian los detalles, pero bueno la calidad de face no es perfecta XP
Pero bueno, ahora podras apreciar mejor los detalles que se muestran por aqui ; )
Y vaya, si captaste lo de la cadena. Sip es una llave ; ) y de donde abre esa llave. Pues si comparas la forma de la llave con la punta de la torre mas alta, tendras una idea.
Y de que si son dragones los que vuelan? Para nada XD no existen drakanianos alados, solo dragones, aunque estos seres se ven que son humanoides X3

Took me some time to... well... to find some time... in order to write you. ^^
I'm ill at the moment and very busy with school... so I was not checking the internet very often.
ANYWAY, I've seen your artwork and I can at least point out some of the aspects which REALLY caught my attention.
1) Compared to my own style, you are using softer line art (either it's NO line art, at all or it's a filter) to draw these little half circles for the scales. It works well in digital style! And I like how the scales are done on Orion. The tail looks BEST!
Really... very nice scale texture and thought it's lots of work... it looks good!
2) The background is very detailed and I love this fantasy castle. ^^ With dragons and snow.... very cool!
3) The pose... is a typical COMIC COVER ART composition and it looks strong and dynamic.

Thanks man! : D I know you´re having a tough week and all that, so is ok. At least you manage to see this pic and that´s great!
Yeah, after some watch I though that making the scale´s lines more soft and thin would make it not very visible but at the same time visible thanks to the shading and the highlights. I simply made the scale´s layer around 20% in its opacity, depending if it´s necessary or not.
And yeah, I´m planning on adding the title in front of it for later, once I get the totle´s design ready. But for now it´s perfect to print it in foam board : 3
