Tojhinio (on the right): Looks tough... I guess we'll have to work together.
Ronan(on the left): Tch, whatever... Just stay outta my way, Kurie!
Tojhie from the Side A heroes group and Ronan from the Side B group. Both groups generally have someone on each side that match up due to their looks, personalities and/or roles. Tojhie and Ronan pair up because of their habit of being a bit air-headed about things and acting before thinking, plus their fighting style is generally weaponless brawling. (Tojhie tends to rely more on his fists while Ronan primarily uses his legs.) The also have the "one-article-of-clothing-longer-than-the-other" thing going. (Tojhie's left glove is longer than his right; Ronan's left boot is longer than his right, and the right sleeve of his jacket is longer than his left.) It should also be mentioned that their last names are derived from the same thing... Something from years ago when I was primarily doing Klonoa fancharacters and stories. Nothing that anyone here would probably remember though... :P
They instinctively dislike each other and make sure that fact is well known whenever they meet up, but still somehow manage to have the other one's back in times of need. Rivals at first glance, even if they won't admit to it.
I felt like drawing something in a bit of an SD style. It's fun to to SD and Chibi every now and then! XD I'm fairly proud of this though... I had a little bit of a hard time figuring out how Ronan would pose himself, being mainly a legs/feet fighter, but I'm happy with the result. On a slightly related note, I didn't draw Ronan's marks on his cheek/arm because I'd like to color this sometime. (It's easier to just add them in during the color stages than to line them, color, then go back and erase the lines.)
...I wonder if anyone gets sick of my huge commentary I put on most of the pics here? XDD *SHOT*
Celestials is a collab story/project between
azarian and myself. Not sure what the future holds for it, but for now it's mostly writing on his part and random doodles on mine.
