My father went to Thailand in his youth, working as a cameraman. While there, he had the opportunity to witness a muay thai match. He swears that it was one of the bloodiest, most brutal things he has ever seen; a man who was a child during the Holocaust, who served in the Israeli military, who worked as a cameraman for international news crews. To think, he was only talking about the crowd of fans around the ring.
