alright, for some advice, I'd say make the armor portions shiny, and if you'd want his outfit to match his face, then you should use purple in other places. Also, his mysterious appearance demands lots of black. That suggests a two tone kind of thing. Purple for fabric and black for armor? or vice versa for added colorfulness? Some gold or silver accents on the more minor details also work. Of course, you're the artist, you have full control. ^w^
