Several years ago the Phallent family were victoms of a terrible car accident. The youngest son didn't make it and the mother has been in the hospital ever since for her various injuries. Saul came out on top. That is if you can call having limited use of his right leg for the rest of his life "on top".

Sphalt appears to most folks as quiet and kind though he readily speaks his mind when he feels the need. He used to be into sports as a youth but after the accident he turned to other interest like art and design. Sphalt sales the jewelry he makes in a both at a market place and everyone in the stales around his are his friends.

This character was made for  VaugnApocalypse contest as a boyfriend for Zink. Though Sphalt himself doesn't wear flashy jewelry he likes to make them and thinks Zink looks great in them.
