I was commissioned by my city and Dogs for the Deaf to come up with kid friendly/cartoonish canines to paint on a pair of fire hydrants. One was in front of the elementary school in town while the other was near the local Walmart. It was challenging considering all the angles and the fact that the hydrants were originally old and rusted and I had to make them look new again.

I consider myself successful in the fact that the children absolutely adored this. That made me the most proud considering half the time I was beating myself up over how this turned out.
