Was hanging out with
ECmajor and
Blitzava today and was in a sketchy mood so drew a leopard. Well, a cat but they suggested I give it spots so... here's the result. I overlayed a little color to play with it in photoshop. I really need to work on my big-cat's bodies, they are still a little rough and unnatural.

heh, typical cat pose: draped across a branch which looks too thin to bear the weight. must be a feline thing.
from the few pictures I know of clouded leopards they have very large nosetips and narrow muzzles like a cougar or something. others than that it's a very beautiful and serene cat looking pretty... until it's time to hunt again.

heh yup ^_^ My favorite pose for leopards, I've been on a leopard kick. I'm having problems keeping their proportions correct *frowns* This originally wasn't supposed to be a clouded, it was just a generic wildcat but I was told to give it spots and I only have the clouded leopard pattern in my memory. Easily remedied, I need to study up on my leopards!
