Nara cry in protest as she was being tied to the stake “I beg you let me go”, her cries fell on deaf ears as the men were not interested in anything she had to say. Earlier that day she was walking around in the village doing some shopping when all of a sudden everyone was pointing and shouting at her.
“Did you see that?!” “She glowing!” “What’s that mark on her hand?” “Witchcraft, she must be a witch, get her!’ WITCH WITCH WITCJ KILL THE WITCH.
Nara had no idea what anyone was talking about. She couldn't see herself glowing, but when she looked at her hand there was a mark she never see before. “What the?”
“BURN HER, BURN THE WITCH!”
Now tied to the stake, tears began to run down her face. “How could they?” she thought “These people were her friends, family, and neighbors and now they were all cheering for her dead.” “SOMEBODY, ANYBODY HELP ME, PLEASE I NOT A WITCH.” Her cries for help turn into screams of terror and pain as flames began to burn her feet, the crowd cheer growth louder.
ROOAARRRR, the crown looked up into the sky, Nara heard the roar too, but unlike the now fleeing crowd, she couldn’t turn and look to see what was coming, however she know it was something bad. “What did it matter anyways?’ she thought coldly with the flames working their way up her body and the smoke entering her lungs. She felt herself going in and out of consciousness.
Whatever it was landed right behind her. The rope holding her snap. Huge claws wrapped around her and pulled her away from the flames. Barely conscious she could now see the face of a green dragon looking down at her. The beast was so huge that its head alone was bigger than two or three of her. The dragon eye her for a minute, than it began to flicker out its tongue, letting go of her with its claws and rewrapping her with its tongue. The dragon slowly started too pulled into its maw. Nara wise she had the strength to put up a fight,” but hey” she thought darkly “I was going to die before this bastard showed up anyways.”
Nara was half expecting to feel the dragon’s sharp teeth to tear her to shreds, instead the dragon pulled her past them and straight to its throat. Part of her lag did get cut on one of the dragon’s teeth on the way, but it don’t seem like it was intentional. She slide down the dragon’s throat and it wasn’t long before she felt herself enter a large wet chamber she know was the dragon's stomach. She try to stand, but her legs were too weak for her to get up, so all she could do was lay in the dark. She felt a pile of small objects underneath her. Bones of past victims, no they were something else. She ran her hand through a pile of small objects and realized they were some sort of coins. She could feel the dragon moving outside and was able to guess when the dragon took to the air. To her surprise she wasn’t being tossed around like a ragdoll by this, in fact the bigger questions was, why wasn’t she dead yet. She don’t know how long she laid there before she finally pass out.
She woke up some time later laying in a large cave, the walls were lit with torches. Her eyes widened in horror as she look around and realized she was surrounded by bones, some of them clarity human. She try to get up only to get a painful reminder of her injuries. “SHIT!” Her fear heightened as she heard the dragon coming. He was upon her in minutes, his huge head sniffing her. She closed her eyes, waiting for that damn beast to finish her off. She felt something cold and wet being rub into her the legs. Nara open her eyes to see the dragon was still next to her and her leg, other than some scarring, were completely healed. The dragon drop some cook meat by her as if he wanted to eat it. She hesitated before taking a bite, to her relief it was venison. It appeared that the dragon had no intentions of killing her, not now at least, but what did he want with her?
