Despite the loud, muffled protests and the constant thumping and clawing against the folds of his stomach walls, Bethany just couldn't get the dragon that swallowed her to listen. Despite hoe soaked her clothes became or how much of the strange glowing blue stomach juices pooled around her legs, she was quite adamant on getting her point across.
"I don't know who Cassandra is, but I'm not her! I'm not your daughter, I don't even know you! Let me out already!" She'd yell variations of over the loud groans and glorps the body encasing her made and despite all the noise her predator makes, not a word was spoken by him.
Maybe she wasn't being loud enough, maybe she wasn't digging her claws in deep enough. Maybe he knows that she's not his daughter and plans on churning her into pudge. No no, be positive, maybe he doesn't know and is just playing with her.
Maybe Solid doesn't care and just wanted to mess with someone?

Yeah. That's most likely, the last one, yeah.
This was... a long, fun trade with
AidynHart who is a lovely artist, a sweet person and pretty damn nice to talk to. I spent a lot more time in detailing this than I wanted. By the time I finished all that stomach lighting and the like, I couldn't be stuff shading in Solid @_@ I need to colour more so I can do it quickly and not be tired of colouring.
But still, all that said, I -really- enjoyed doing this. On top of being one of the more detailed and appealing images (to me) that I've drawn lately, it was all spontaneous. No pre-meditation require, just sat down and whipped it up first thing in a stream.
Though, to give some context to the image, AidynHart's character Bethany shares a striking resemblance to Solid's adopted daughter, Cassandra. Solid's a bit playful at times around his children and just... eats them. Because. No harm done of course, they're his children.
I imaging he'd probably just have spotter Bethany, assumed it was Cassandra and swallowed her in jest, realising it's not his daughter as the creature he swallowed protests unlike the silence Cassandra would generally show.
