Well, to be fair, there has been far more (or is it really 'less'?) pornographic level of costuming in certain heroines and even a few heroes...even if that last one was more done in comedic satire of the female hero example...

Reminds me of a scene I saw from an anime episode where one character gets so boiling angry, she comically appears gaint size for a few seconds dwarfing over the guy that offended her.
Yeah, funny how costumed heroines tend to wear clothing that is more stripperific that most of their male counterparts, with Wonder Woman and Power Girl coming most to my mind.
