Been on both sides of that. :(

life is the cruelest thing of all as it happens to you and only you can truly experience what happens. empathy is the only window in to someone else's life but even then it is still not the same, all we can do is sit on the other side of the glass and see the torment, knowing there is little we can do about but talk and be there for them. I my self has had to sit on the other side of the glass while my friend goes in to depression over a brake up and sitting there is just as much torture for me. he got out of that glass room but it was horrible in there. things are better now but he still has the scars.
