i tried running a kobold cleric in 3.5 once but bad stat rolls left me with a kobold so week he could barely support his own weight (he could cast like nobody's business (ie ended up with a perfect 18 on his wis stat so bonus spells for days) but he was stuck with nothing but a loincloth, a holy symbol and a component pouch)... stupid carry weight rules
