Here's Tokka from the feature presentation " Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Secret of the Ooze ". It's a stupid movie to say the very least. ANYhoo, Tokka has discovered that, if you go to the building that has the man with the big head & little body and open the see-thru doors, they'll give you lots of chicken.
As far as who the cats are, the gray one is Michelangelo's cat, Klunk and, I believe the tan one is Jonesy from " Alien " ( which is rated R ).
Foof is oogling with a mutant dandelion and... there seems to be a treecko in the mix as well.
P.S. Oh, the bucket actually says " Kentucky Fried Bird PARTS " not " pain ". I wasn't trying to make any sort of anti-KFC reference or anything. KFC has done my chicken pretty good... although, I rarely ever eat there.

Jonesy was the first thing I thought of actually when I saw that cat!
Beyond that, great work as always... have you ever explained the reason for the rural/country backgrounds for this series? Does it also represent a nostalgic place in your mind like the figures you've drawn reference from?

Heh , awesome. I love Jonesy and most things " Alien " in general... and I'm on one of my soon-to-be-patented " Alien " kicks again.
The back grounds.... hmmm... I kinda like the sort of strangeness of the pretty scene coupled with the odd character. I guess it's just my way of showing this stuff from a different point of view... well.... that's not quite it. I guess it's just me doing existing characters filtered through me. With the series, for the most part, I just wanna show the character as it comes from me in a scene that it may or may not have ever been shown.... and yet, that's not quite right either. Heh.
I guess the scenery does come from somewhere inside me. No where specific... except for the " Fishface " pic...
Sorry about the jumbled response. It's hard to put this sort of thing into words sometimes but I'm glad someone asked.

I love that you got that kind of pigeon-towed stance to him that the figure had. Ironically I never had the regular Tokka as a kid, I had the mutating one. Which was fine, cause, well he was bulky and he was cool.
This is beautifully done, again. I really love his bulgy cheeks, hah.

My mind's not right...ai-ai-ai.
Also I like Secret of the Ooze, even if it was dumb. :p I remember how obsessed I was with wanting a Super Shredder. I still remember walking into a KB toys and freaking my shit out when they actually HAD one...but wasn't allowed to get it. No, my mom bought it secretly and I got it for Christmas that year though.

Yeah! I was going for a knee-knocked sort of thing with him. The Mutations Tokka is really nice. It has very few joints & hinges. Actually, with maybe the exception of the April figure ( who's still cool in theory ), the original Mutations line is pretty good. I think I got all of them.
I've always wondered if Slash & the first Tokka were designed at the same time of if they looked at Slash & thought " We could done make ourselves a Tokka! Who cares if their feet aren't correct! " I had all the paint variations at one point but traded all of my carded TMNT figures. I still have the loose tan Tokka. He's kinda weak though.
I guess I because I was in high school when I was buying the original turtles, it was easier for me to find them. Although, Mom did something similar for me with Hoth Han. Mom already bought one to give to me after I had oral surgery when I was in 1st grade or something.

Yes. Mostly the Mutations Tokka but I had the " Slash " Tokka out too ( I have the tan version ). They must've just copied the shell of the " Slash " Tokka when doing the Mutations version. I always wondered if they made the first Tokka & Slash at the same time. The Mutations Tokka is actually a nice figure though.
