SPLAT-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA- SPLATOON!
Well this was my entry for the splatoon fanart contest Nintendo was hosting
Pretty sure I didn't win considering I didn't get any ask in my inbox.
I thought maybe I'd be at least a runner up but nope //sighs
Oh well I guess at least I did Splatoon fanart that I've been wanting to do so it gave me reason to do it. Plus I don't think I've worked so hard on an art piece in a long time. This took me all month from start to finish!

I don't think I wanna do a background like this again for a while I worked so hard on it //cries
Also dang- guns are a thing and hand placement is also a thing
thAT PAINT ROLLER IS ALSO A THING
and I am also proud of that building in the middle in the background
I'm proud of how everything came out in general
Maybe one day I'll sell it as a print as well if anyone's interested? It would be I believe 11 x 7 when I put it at reasonable size.

Dude I'd choose a WiiU over a PS4 until they show something amazingly worthwhile that isn't cross platforming onto- let's say- the PS3 ' v '

Tbh when I looked down the entries in one of the required tags every once and a while I saw the ones that are up so far (except the first one- where did that come from) and just went "YEP. I HAVE COMPETITION." The one's that have been shown so far have things that stick out and catch your eye but ye I do agree that there were some better choices-- Not saying mine is better than those or a better choice, not at all, but ye.

Everyone drawing Splatoon art makes me wanna get it now though. I haven't gotten a WiiU game since Hyrule Warriors and Smash Bros cause all the new 3DS games are stealing my money xD

When they first announced Splatoon at E3 last year I wasn't too thrilled about it, but now that it's finally here with all the stuff they added omg just take my money Nintendo xD
So glad I bought a WiiU right when the price drop happened last year or so (also cause that's when they had the special Zelda themed ones out so yay Zelda game pad for me~). Even if there weren't any good games out back then, I can always count on Nintendo to EVENTUALLY come out with neat titles for their new systems like this oneee :3
