I've been so out of the loop I dunno what the desc is all about, but uh 'o'; The texture in the hair looks like one of those spiffy manga paper things that you cut out and press or.. I dunno how they're applied. ;;

Late reply, but if you want to get the same effect:

- Draw entirely with a pencil

- Duplicate original picture layer in Photoshop or whatever

- Switch image mode of one layer to B&W

- Clean it up the way you want

- ????

- PROFIT!!!
