Back on the grass, Clyde was staring at the stars. In the city, he had never seen such a clear sky, and the night made it beautiful, even appeasing. When he lay there, he had the feeling that all his worries just flew away.
“Ah, there you are” A voice took him from his contemplation.
He turned his head to see the green dragoness walking to him. They had been friends for weeks, and two weeks ago, she had taken him away from his boring regular human life to live with her. The first times had been great, and he still enjoyed living with her, but he kind of missed some parts of his former life in the city. A human was always a bit dependant of his lifestyle, and he was no exception.
“I tracked you for half an hour. If I didn’t know you, I would say you are running away from me.” She giggled, coming to lie down next to him. “But I see you already prepared for my arrival.”
She was pointing out at his light clothes. Actually, lying down in the grass was of no interest if he couldn’t actually feel the grass. Where in the city could he do this? Without neighborhood complaining of a strange guy watching the sky in underwear, of course…
However, she happened to like this habit of his. She used to say that he looked more appetizing without clothes. Typical dragon humor that he also tended to laugh at. The funniest, ironically, was that her words were often barely hidden truths.
She did find him appetizing. Or else, why did she occasionally… wanted to prey on him? This had become a running game between them since the first time they met. Back then, all he felt for her was fear, who wouldn’t be with an oversized, carnivorous reptile? But back then, he was more afraid of misdoing, and, irony again, he had let enter his house to avoid the guilt of leaving her to an angry farmer who wanted to kill her. The drawback of being a predator was that food defended itself…
Yet, he didn’t regret his meeting with her, even if he had ended his night in the stomach of this night intruder… like the majority of his nights since. Strangely, she turned out being the opposite of the bloody monster he thought she was. And even stranger, she didn’t eat him out of hunger… but rather as affection. Not that she didn’t get satisfaction doing this, but he could have sworn it would have been far different with another predator.
The point was that she put a lot of efforts in making it enjoyable for him, a bit like making him willing for that spiced up the experience for her. Whatever were her motivations, he actually was willing for that reason. Her way of playing with him made him feel like he was more than just a prey to her; he felt like she had some respect for him and his feelings.
And if he had to spend some hours in her stomach to keep a friend like her, the choice wasn’t that hard. She had never hurt him, and had already spitted him out safe and sound. But the pleasant side was that her body produced toxins that made her prey relaxing once in her belly. Each time, it was like going to bed, with the promise of a peaceful and pleasant night.
“I wouldn’t make you hunt in the wood without getting a prey in the end.” He replied with a smile, joking in the same tone. “The view here is the best I’ve ever seen. We don’t have such a sky in the city.”
“Yes, the stars are beautiful from here…” She trailed off before rolling on her back just next to him, so their bodies would be side to side. He had always felt like a big guy compared to other humans, but compared to her… he felt kind of small. “Do you know a bit of astronomy?” She asked.
The question surprised him a bit. He knew that his friend, as a dragon, had to know a lot about nature. But he wouldn’t have suspected that she was interested in such fields. He, on the other hand, was quite ignorant on the subject.
“Nnnnnnn… not really…” he admitted, a bit ashamed. “I think it’s actually the first time in my life that I take the time to contemplate a night sky.”
“Aw, that’s a shame, stars are full of stories.”
“Stories?”
“Well, first, when you look at a star, you actually see the past. The light travelled from such a distance that when it comes to our eyes, it’s a vision of many centuries ago, millions of years for some. It always feeds my imagination to know that when the light was emitted, totally different kinds of lives were on these lands.”
He didn’t speak a word, amazed by her speech. Said like that, the facts made him think deep too. What was life back then? How many huge historical events had taken place during the time of such a travel? It made him feel like by only watching these stars, he was becoming the wearer of a millions of years history.
He had never thought of such matters. During his life in the city, and from his birth, his only interests had been to fit in the society, to be good at what he did. He had never taken time to think outside of his little life. In that, meeting this dragoness had been a huge benefit in itself. One of the many benefit, actually, because she had brought so many things in his life that he wondered how he could have figured out what living meant without her.
“And also, from all time, sentient beings have looked up, and recorded tales in the stars. The constellations are the reflections of the culture that interpreted them, gave them the legacy of their legends. Like this one.”
She pointed a group of stars, circled by clouds. She drew imaginary line with her claws, and the figure of a human shape formed in his mind.
“He’s Adam, the first man: a human so great that even dragons call him ‘the first man’ and not ‘the first human’. Look at how he stands proudly, with absolutely no weapon but his ideals. This is a tribute to how he was. He was a really tormented human, but in front of others, because they needed his strength, his intelligence and his heart, he would always show assurance, confidence, and a will of steel.”
“Dragons have stories about a human?” He asked in surprise, turning his head to hers. She made the same move, and staring into her beautiful eyes through the grass between them held something magical.
“We have stories about all beings who deserved it, in bad and good. And Adam was probably the most glorious of them all. It was in a time dragons were oppressed by demons. Before they could grow old, the demons would come to them and kill them. Because they wanted to keep dragons weak, and maintain their power over them. If anyone stood in their way, they would make examples. There was no hope. Dragons were doomed to an existence of fear and pain. And then, out of nowhere, he appeared. Adam. Even he didn’t know why he was here, a poor human whose fate had been nothing but cruel, and lost in an unknown land. He looked a lot like the demons, so dragons were afraid of him. Not all of them though… Two dragons saw something in him, and decided to trust and help him. It touched his heart, so when he saw what the demons did to them, he decided to dedicate his life to freeing them. He stood against the demons. It was hard, even to him. The demons would give him no rest, attacking him from every front, and in every possible form. Adam was taken down countless of times… But they would never manage to break him, because he would never stop fighting. In the end he managed to win for good, but it cost him everything he had… even his life…”
“He sacrificed himself to save the dragons? But how could he be the first man if he ended like this?”
“Legends say that he came back, to give life to the entire human race. He gave his teaching to everyone, and entrusted them his dreams of a peaceful land, where dragons and humans wouldn’t have to fight anymore. We dragons tell this story to our hatchlings, because it contains the main points of what being good is. Being strong, because being good with no choice is just being a victim. Never abuse of your power, and choose to achieve great things instead. Never turn your back to beings who deserve help. Peace is hard to get, but will always worth the fight. And above all else, stay humble and right hearted.”
He watched her for a few seconds, admiring her sentences. He had never heard such beautiful words…
“You know, I had heard that dragons were wise and smart, but you show me how much I underestimated you…”
“I just repeat what I learnt.” She answered with a soft lick on his cheek. “And from what I know, humans aren’t that bad, they are just… more confused than dragons. Your species tends to make big deals out of meaningless things. But in a way, that makes you cute.”
He chuckled, and didn’t fight the lick. He still wasn’t used to it, even after two weeks of living with her. But as weird as it felt, it was actually the first being to show affection to him. And it was heartwarming.
“You’ll probably say that I make big deals out of nothing once again, but I don’t remember you telling me your name? That’s a shame that after two weeks I still don’t know how I should call you…”
“Oh, you can just call me ‘dragon’, I’m fine with that…” She replied. But her awkward expression made it obvious she simply didn’t want to answer his question.
“Come on, I’m sure it’s not such a bad name. Tell me….” He insisted, trying to tickle her pride. He knew it was a little weakness of her. “Are you afraid of my reaction?”
“You would laugh, it’s a ridicule name….”
“I won’t. Tell me…”
“Fine, fine… You see… I hatched on a summer day, when the forest was at its most beautiful colors. And my mother thought that my scales were of the same green of the leaves on the trees… So she called me… Leafera.”
He couldn’t hold back a laugh he instantly regretted. He didn’t want to make her uncomfortable when opening to him like this. But she was right; it was a funny name.
“You promised you wouldn’t laugh!” She protested.
“Yeah, sorry, I really am. That’s not so bad, it’s actually a cute name…. Leafera” He chuckled once more, this time winking at her to show that it was a friendly mockery. She got the message and smiled deviously before rolling over him, belly on belly. She was kind of big, but strangely, not so heavy. He suspected her to lighten her weight with her legs. But her front paws were maintaining him firmly on the shoulders.
“This time, you won it! I thought I could accept an unsuccessful hunt for once, but you need to be reminded who’s the dragon here… and what happens when you make fun of me!”
She just ended her sentence that her paws began to rub softly while she lowered her head to tickle him with his tongue. He knew those moves, of course. She loved playing with him that way. Wearer of a knowledge he couldn’t explain, she was able to induce sweet sensations to his body by performing this strange treatment. It always felt amazing… so amazing, in fact, that he tended to lose his mind in the process, a bit like in a drunk state.
“No, that’s not fair!” He protested with no assurance, already feeling more relaxed. “You know I’m not myself anymore when you do this.”
“That’s the point, my silly human.” She whispered, her tongue following his jaw and coming up to his ear. “I sense a lot of tensions and bad thoughts in that head. It needs a sweet medicine…”
He didn’t have the mental strength to protest anymore. It felt good… appeasing… Why would he protest when she was so right? Besides, he didn’t want her to stop. He loved it too much… He began to breath deeper, and closed his eyes to better enjoy it. He was curious though whether she planned on going all the way to what she was used to do after it.
“Are you… going to eat me?” He managed to articulate.
When he was fully relaxed, indeed, she used to take advantage of his state to enjoy him in her way… Dragons were carnivorous, and predator by nature. Humans were their favorite prey, what’s more. And though he had visited her insides more than once, it was remarkable how she not only managed to never hurt him, but even make it a lovely experience…
“You made funny of me…” She replied in an amused tone, her voice sounding now like a melody to his ears. “So, human meat for me tonight, my friend. That’s only fair to be on the menu when you tickle my pride.”
He couldn’t help but giggling to such teasing. It was fair indeed, and she had seen clear in his intentions, like always. It was hard to trick her, but it was always a lot of fun to try… especially when the ‘punishment’ for such daring attitude was a sweet massage with the creature he felt so close to. He was so haze minded that he even waited for it with impatience.
“But before, I’d like to talk a bit with you, little treat.” She blew while tickling his temple and ear with her warm and soft tongue.
“you know that I’m not in state to talk clearly…” He sighed in enjoyment.
“On the contrary, I think you’re in state to be fully honest. I’m sure you wouldn’t lie to me right now, am I wrong?” She asked, getting back to look at him.
He opened his eyes, and watched in hers with a tender gaze. He simply nodded, a peaceful smile on his face. A distant voice in his mind told him he should have been less confident about it, but he couldn’t help himself with that: he just had to give her what she wanted, in reward for being so sweet with him.
“I’ve felt more and more conflicts in you, lately.” She explained in her usually soft voice. She really was talented to control and appease his mind. “Tell me, are you really happy here with me?”
“I am happy to be with you. But I’m unsure whether my place is truly here.” He replied in his purest honesty. She was right; he simply was unable to lie to her.
“Develop your thought, my sweet diner…” She encouraged him, getting back to her massage and licking business.
“You’re the best thing that ever happened in my life.” Clyde spoke, meaning each word. “But I think a human is not meant to live in the forest… I’m too used of technology and comfort of my previous life… And though I will never want to get away from you, I somehow miss my former home…”
He knew he shouldn’t have said this, but his rational side was overwhelmed by the pleasure she gave him.
“You should have told me earlier…”
“I know I shouldn’t have told you at all” He replied, honesty finally aligning with his rational thoughts. “What matters the most to me is being with you…”
“But one doesn’t mean you can’t have the other, sweetie.” She spoke softly, taking a little lick on his nose. “Actually, I know how to solve this…”
“How…?”
“That will be a surprise, silly human. For now, the night is ours… And I’m hungry…”
A deep growl came from below to illustrate her words, and he felt a warm drop of saliva falling on his chin. As she took her head back, he looked deep into her eyes with a smile. Yes, there was no escape… but he didn’t want to escape… Right now, he desired to make her as happy and relaxed as he was. And the best way to achieve it… was to let her have her fun with him…
“You don’t plan on resisting, do you?” She asked with a grin. He could almost feel her thrill, and he loved raising such desire in her. So he just slowly shook his head without leaving his smile. “I love it when you’re so submissive… Well… here we go…”
He closed his eyes when she started to lower on his head, jaws opened. He accepted it… He wanted it… The warmth of her maw covered his face, and soon… he felt her soft tongue pressing on his chin. The strong yet gentle muscle dragged him forward and he could hear her excited breath. Good… she was taking him… welcoming him… and every cell of his body was willing for it…
Her tongue suddenly pushed him a bit stronger, into a soft grasp of other muscles… the muscles of her throat. He sighed deeply in relaxation. Her insides were incomparable… It was even better than her foreplay. Her warm throat was undulating around his head and chest, rubbing him, massaging him… And the feeling of her tongue coiling around his legs made him moan in pleasure.
He couldn’t say how long it took… seconds… minutes… hours… She really took her time to enjoy him, and he suspected her to try and make it enjoyable to him. She was so sweet…
The muscles surrounding him contracted tighter, forcing his head through a valve that he recognized as the entrance of her stomach. So he was arriving… He couldn’t wait for it. He knew that however weird it always felt at first, the best moments were ahead.
He slid smoothly into her stomach when she took a last, deep swallow that pushed him entirely in. If she hadn’t proceeded to her lovely treatment at first, he knew he would have found this environment really hostile, but he simply enjoyed feeling her all around. Her flesh was so sweet… In his mind, it was crystal clear that she did all this for him. Despite her appearance of a frightening carnivorous predator, no being had ever done so much for him.
“Thank you, Leafera”
“Don’t call me that, sweetie…” She complained softly, putting a paw on him and rubbing gently. “But anyway, I know you’re not totally yourself… How do you feel?”
“Goooood…” He sighed, rubbing his cheek against the fleshy walls. “And it’s becoming better…”
“Yes, my body toxins, remember?” She giggled. “You should relax a bit, sweetie… You’ve been tensed lately.”
“What if I don’t want to?” He spoke teasingly as started to wriggle around. Since she cared so much about him, it was only fair from him to care for her pleasure too.
“No, no, don’t, no… oh yes…” She finally surrendered, laying on her side. “You’re really provocative for a little prey, you know that? This wouldn’t help you if I was any other dragon.”
“I would never accept to be the prey of another dragon, my friend…” He spoke softly, before yawning wide. The sounds of her heartbeats and of her belly, together with the sweet contractions of her stomach and the gentle rubs on his back made him sleepy.
“It sounds like someone needs a good rest” She giggled, probably making fun at his yawning. “Sleep, sweetie… I take care of everything.”
A remote voice in his mind tickled his curiosity, saying these words hid a message… But in his state, he contented himself with laying comfortably against the flesh surrounding him, letting the sweet lullaby of her body sounds taking him to Morpheus’ world. The toxins of the dragoness’ stomach even put a peaceful and please smile on his sleepy face.
As weird as it felt, there was no better place he could have wished for to spend the night.
Leafera remained side on the grass, gazing on her belly and caressing the bulge her human was making. He had stopped moving, except for some little twitches, and a slight snoring was coming from her insides. Clyde was so cute when he slept in her… She sighed happily and leaned to lick her swollen belly.
“Sleep in peace, my cutie… I know how to make you as happy as I am…”
Slowly, she rolled over and pushed on her legs to get up. Her lovely human, and dearest diner, was big enough to make her belly hang at her knee level. Walking was hard… not painful, but rather the opposite. At each step she took, the bulge moved and sent her occasional chills of pleasure, giving her an increasing desire to just lay there and rub this glorious load. But there would be no way she could take advantage of him and enjoy him like a regular prey.
Humans were a delicacy. Having the opportunity of eating one was a rare occurrence. But Clyde wasn’t a dish to her. He was far more than that. She would remember with emotions how he had selflessly trusted and helped her the first time they met. He was naïve, but nice… full of insecurities and doubts she hoped she’d manage to cure. She couldn’t help it; she wanted to be there for him. Because he deserved someone to watch after him, someone who’d finally make his life simple, and peaceful.
She stopped a second to catch her breath, and looked down at her belly. She patted him gently, to make him feel her presence in his sleep.
He was uncomfortable in the woods; that was obvious. A human needed his environment just like she needed hers. She had always thought of the forest as her environment, the only place she could live in. But the more she thought about what she truly wanted, the more she came to think that the only environment she really needed… was him.
She had seen where he lived, for she had visited him a few times before she took him here. It was weird, but she doubted she would be unable to adapt to it. After all, dragons didn’t need any material belonging or surrounding to feel comfortable. If his home was what he needed to be happy, then nothing stopped her from packing his stuff and bringing him back there!
The only thing that bugged her was that back then, he wasn’t that happy… But it was a certitude now that it wasn’t because of where he lived. It was probably because of the troubles of the human life that he struggled to deal with. He had told her about them once, but she hadn’t really understood. Maybe it would be the way to make him happy: helping him handling his life. She intended to be there for that, a support that will make him rise proud and happy.
As she walked toward her new goals, she drew her head closer to him, and whispered:
“I’m not giving up on you, Clyde. From tomorrow, we’ll live in your way, and I’ll be there to help you get over all the difficulties.”
She didn’t know if he had heard her, but that wasn’t the matter. Explaining her plans out loud made them more real. And it gave her confidence in her abilities to work them out.
After a few step, she felt a slight move inside her stomach, and a dreaming voice saying:
“Love you…”
She smiled and giggled a bit to that. He was under the effects of her toxins, and it made him speak out of his mind, even when he slept. She knew she had to not take this seriously.
“If only…” She sighed, dreamful.
