Radar! Good god, this pic has made my Halloween (and it's not even horror-related), I absolutely love it. Faved times infinity, super love and all that
...yeah, loves me some M*A*S*H. It's one of my favorite TV shows, and I always make time to watch it when I can. Wonderful job here, he looks completely adorable in his little fatigues
Now, there was something I else I was supposed to do tonight. Hmm, what was it, what was it, what was it...

M*A*S*H...Mobile Army Surgical Hospital. It started as a book by Robert Hooker (a pseudonymn of a real doctor in Korea), it was then done as a film by Robert Altman (although his son made more money writing "Suicide is Painless". The movie did good and was a contrast to Fox's other two 1970 war classics, Tora!Tora!Tora! and Patton (which took all the Oscars that year, only Titanic and LotR: Return of the King and Gone with the Wind have more Oscars).
The TV series started in 1972 and went till 1983 (think I got that right). Gary Burgoff (CPL Walter Eugene "Radar" O'Reilly) is the only actor to appear in both the movie and series (and starred in a failed pilot spinoff, W*A*L*T*E*R) and was joined by differnt actors.
Radar Fact: While in the series "Hawkeye" thinks "Radar" has ESP, but in the novel...Radar HAS ESP and when he returns stateside it's said he has "telepathy" and does really well with a chain of restaurants. Only person in the movie, book or TV series that actually stumped him was COL Potter in Season 7, Episode 7 (or eight if you go by syndication due to how they split "Our Finest Hour") "They Call the Wind Korea" (or Manchuria...needa read my book again. :P).
Hehehe...did I lose ya there, or was that helpful?

I was actually watching a few episodes of M*A*S*H the last couple of days. I always thought Radar as being one of my fav characters in the series. You did a cute pic here. He looks quite a bit more happier than Radar did though but thats good. ^.^
Now wonder how a tv series with characters as furs would go over.. 0.o
