How did you go about it if you don't mind me asking ?

For this one, I sketched the headshot traditionally, scanned it in, and added flat colors to start off with. There's a lot of different steps I go through, but usually I use different layer modes with gradients and freehand to get it close to painting, then paint over it on a final layer to refine everything. The stars were just circles duplicated with gaussian blur, then merged and set to overlay/soft light. There were a few other things, but that's the basic gist of it. ^^

I've been keeping up with viewing your art and I always wonder the basics of your method. I was wondering if you ever fix your lines in software. : )

For the most part I did just simple edits, but I'm testing out right now sketching with a tablet since my new one just arrived. I'll let you know if I find anything out that's useful xD
