I drew this a long time ago and then stuck it to the side of one of my note books with electrical tape in high school, but i kinda like the wrinkly dirty way it looks now,
i keep eveything. i still have note books from middle school. lol
this was on my electronics notebook since i was in vo-ed and i used this notebook A LOT
i know its just a scribble and its also a trace of an older shittier pic i drew
(the skull part)
Jaunty is from the video game "Shadow man" which was on N64. Dreamcasrt and PS1
he is the gate keeper to the deadside and has an irish accent,
my favorite part of that game was in the london underground level where you fought jack the ripper, the music in the background was beethovens moonlight sonata and throughout various bits of the level sometimes the music was reversed and remixed with a REALLY disturbingly weird sound.
other then that the game will creep you the F#@K out, its weirder and creepier then resident evil and its very easy to get lost in the game,
i drew the original skull with 3 arrows shot thru the bottom and sticking out the top, and i also drew a spine, i didnt like it though so i traced the skull to another paper (this one) and turned him into jaunty :D
i lost the original art long long ago but i have a copy of it that came out of a fax-machine (i used the original to test it then lost it so i traced the copy)
this was just a off-the-top-of-the-head doodle to begin with.

although i didnt play it much, (it was my dads game) i thought it was pretty cool,
he had the PS1 port, and due to the fact he got lost so often, it took him like a whole year to beat it (he has no sense of direction when it comes to virtual 3d worlds)
me on the other hand, well i've never finished the game, but i used to sit and watch dad play more then anything, my favorite room was the giant "dark engine"
that game was one big ass mindfu@|< xD

Yeah, I remember when I was a kid it was the big hit. I used to play it all the time. In fact, I've played it so many countless times, that I had beating it maybe 3 or 4 times. Then after a while, just got bored of it suddenly. Got rid of it and gave it to my cousin. Wish I haven't gotten rid of it now since you've reminded me of it. Oh well, I'll get another copy one day after I decide to get E-bay.

theres always the gametrader at the local mall,
hell, theres a place by me that you can still buy used atari games at, xD
(and coleco, and NES, and SEGA, and Dreamcast and pretty much anything, they have records too!)
i think there was a PC port of this game also, but the only place i bet you'd find it would be some torrent or something :P
this is just a sketch i doodled years ago, i doubt i'll be uploading much art as my skills are much for naught. :/ i do upload a bit of music though :P
