The sun's already bright through the curtains, setting our fur golden, and framing ever perfect curve that draws me in until she's against me. Her tail curls against mine, the sun warm on our backs and bellies as this moment is entirely ours to enjoy.
All the worries of the day, the work and toil, forgotten for now. This moment is what makes each new day worth getting up for. For these few minutes, my day is off to a perfect start."
