It's not really tea. Well, I don't call it tea. I call it agua de jamaica, my favorite drink in the world!!
So if you got some dried hibiscus, you can make agua de jamaica.
1c of hibiscus
1gal of water
Sugar to taste
1.Bring water up to a simmer in a pot.
2.Add cup of hibiscus. make sure to sort your amount first as in take any twigs or rocks out.
3.Add 1 1/2 cup of sugar, fill free to add more. (i do. I like mine more on the sweet side)
4.Bring to a boil and boil hibiscus in water for 1 hour.
5.Strain the water. Pour in a pitcher and let cool.
6.Discard the hibiscus or save for another batch.
